Spring has finally arrived, which means longer and brighter days, warmer temperatures, and vibrant colors as trees sprout leaves and flowers begin to bloom. After feeling cooped up in the house all winter, you and your little one are probably more than ready to get outside and breathe in the fresh air.

Of course, one of the best things about the great outdoors is plenty to do without spending any money. But, if you’re like me, you likely enjoy giving your little ones a little wardrobe refresh and stocking up on outdoor toys they can play with well into summer. Thankfully, there is no shortage of adorable spring-worthy finds for your family this year.

French Terry Top and Bottom Set

How cute is this Baby French Terry Top and Bottom Set by Cat & Jack? While I’m partial to the cream set with the adorable embroidered bunny,  it’s also available in green and adorned with a grasshopper. Sizes for this little outfit range from newborn to 12M, and the soft fabric is sure to feel gentle on your baby’s skin.

Build & Splash Water Table

The Little Tikes Build & Splash Water Table is an excellent toy for kiddos between 1 and 6 years old. If you live in a warmer climate, you may already have water-play-worthy temperatures, and if you still have some time before you can bust out the backyard hose, this table is still great because it can be played with even without water. The table comes with more than 25 accessories for building one-of-a-kind creations that are fun to play with when dry and can turn into waterfalls and spouts when you add in some water.

Tricycle

Teach your tot the basics of riding a bike in style with the Banwood Trike. Its timeless design and high-quality materials make this tricycle one you’ll pass down once your little one outgrows it. Kiddos between 2 and 5 years old can safely ride this trike, and there’s even an optional push handle so parents can help beginners stay on course while riding. This sweet bike is available in pink, green, and blue and comes complete with a little wicker basket perfect for bringing a lovey along for the ride.

Flower Power Sunglasses

Real talk: I kind of wish these Babiators Flower Power Sunglasses came in adult sizes—because they are awesome. Sadly for me, they are only available in NB-2Y, 3-5Y, and 6Y+ sizes, which is fair because little kids are sure to love them. They feature UV400 lenses, are built to bend, twist, and survive the wear and tear of childhood, and they’re comfy to wear. If rainbow flowers aren’t your thing, Babiators has several other styles in a variety of colors, so you’re sure to find something your child will love.

Zebra Pack Graphic Tee

The Zebra Pack Graphic Tee by Tea Collection is such a fun addition to any kid’s wardrobe. The shirt is made from 100% soft jersey cotton and features four bright, cheery, colorful zebras perfect for the warmer months. This tee is available in sizes 2 through 16 and is so soft and comfy that your little one will always want to wear it.

Denim Bucket Hat

Protect your baby’s sweet face from the sun with this Baby Denim Bucket Hat from Baby Gap. It’s made from soft cotton denim and designed with an adjustable chin strap so you can get a perfect fit (and make it harder for your baby to pull off). Plus, it has the cutest little embroidered bear on the front—because why not? This hat is available in sizes 0-3M through 18-24M.

Giant Bubble Wand

If there is one thing just about every kid loves, it’s bubbles. With the Giant Bubble Wand 2-Pack from Summer Squad, tots 3 years old and up can create giant bubbles and then marvel as they watch them float away in the sky (or, if they’re like my kids, chase to pop them). This set includes two bubble wands with extended handles, a soap dish, and a bottle of bubble solution.

Baseball Activity Toy

It’s springtime, and you know what that means … it’s time to “play ball!” Introduce your little slugger to America’s favorite pastime with the Baby Starters Magic Years Baseball Activity Toy, which can be played on its own or attached to a stroller or car seat for on-the-go fun. Babies can pull the ball away from the mitt to feel a gentle vibration as it retracts, engage in sensory play with the little attached tags, or make some noise by shaking it for a rattling sound.

Floral Graphic Top and Shorts Set

The Watercolor Floral Graphic Top and Shorts Set by Peek Aren’t You Curious screams “spring.” Available in sizes 2T through 8, this little coordinating set includes a soft sweatshirt and a pair of cozy shorts with an elastic waistband. And for a little extra fun, the top has sequin details to make the flowers sparkle in the sun.

Raincoat

April showers bring May flowers and all that, so a Raincoat from Primary is worth adding to your tot’s wardrobe. This little jacket is available in five colors and sizes 1 through 10-12, and it features everything a good raincoat should, like a waterproof outer layer, a hood, and a soft and smooth lining so it feels comfortable on the skin. It’s also lightweight, great for wearing with layers, and has cute little pockets perfect for holding found treasures (which are usually just wet rocks, but, hey, kids love them!).

Bubble-Blowing Walker Wagon

Fact: Little kids love bubbles and wagons, so it only makes sense to combine these two beloved things into one epic toy, right? The Bubble Buddy Walker Wagon by Radio Flyer does exactly that for kiddos between 1 and 4 years old. It can be used as either a push walker toy or a regular wagon—but either way, when the wheels start turning, bubbles start floating. Springtime family walks just got way cooler.

Bathtime Boat Set

With warmer temperatures comes boating season, and little kids can get in on the action early with this adorable Bathtime Boat Set from Matchstick Monkey. The set is available in four colors and includes one boat and a wobbler monkey. Little ones as young as 6 months can put the monkey in the boat to go for a ride or separate the toys and watch them float individually—whatever floats their boat!

Muslin Short Sleeve Shirt

Your little one will look very dapper in this spring plaid Muslin Short Sleeve Button Up from Hanna Andersson. The 100% cotton textured muslin is super soft to the touch (so they’ll be comfy and happy to wear it) and long enough to tuck in, but it will still look great untucked. This shirt is available in sizes 2 through 12.

Butterfly Garden Kit

Have your tot get their hands dirty to create a space for the prettiest of insects with the Modern Sprout Butterfly Garden Kit. It includes a packet of non-invasive wildflower seeds, a paper pulp butterfly, a wooden garden marker, and a set of colored pencils. Help your kiddo plant the seeds, color the paper pulp butterfly with the pencils, attach it to the wooden marker, and then use it to mark where you planted the seeds. Then, watch the flowers grow, with butterflies sure to arrive not long after.

Ankle Strap Sandals

Set those tiny toes free with a pair of Ankle Strap Sandals from H&M. These adorable shoes are available in three colors and styles in sizes 7.5 through 2.5 (be sure to use their shoe size guide to help you find the right size). Each sandal features a cork-style sole with molded insoles, a foot strap, and an ankle strap with hook-loop fastening. Don’t wait on these sandals because they’re hot sellers, and stock is running out fast.
