The gorgeous colors of changing leaves transitioning from summer to autumn inspired every item on this month’s list.

Every year, when September rolls around, I get giddy because my favorite season is finally drawing near. Sure, there are things to love about winter, spring, and summer, but I am at my absolute best when leggings and sweaters, boots, hot drinks, and pumpkin and apple-scented candles are part of my daily life. Not to mention, who can deny the strange satisfaction of walking outside and stepping on a perfectly crunchy leaf?

Unfortunately for me, I live in the South—where the average daily high temperature in September is still in the 80s—so I won’t be wearing sweaters anytime soon, but even the raging heat can’t stop me from embracing the warm, glowy hues of the season.

Even if fall isn’t your favorite season, it is hard not to appreciate the colors that come along with it. All around are stunning shades of gold, camel brown, burgundy, olive green, and fiery orange—plus all of the complementing colors like navy blue, plum, gray, and ivory. It’s a beautiful palette, which is why we chose “fall colors” as our theme for September’s editors’ picks. So, while you won’t find any flannel or pumpkins on this month’s list, these products still give off autumn vibes that can be enjoyed all year long.

Dream On Me Clover Convertible Crib

As soon as we saw the olive-colored Clover Convertible Crib by Dream On Me, the Pregnancy & Newborn editors knew it was love at first sight. It features rounded spindle slats in a natural wood color that contrasts perfectly with the rich green frame. In addition to the minimalist crib setup—which has three mattress height options—it also converts into a toddler bed and daybed, which can then be used as a seating area when it is time for your little one to transition into a big kid bed. If you love the look but don’t have the space for a full-size crib, a similar mini crib is also available.

Kiki + Lulu ‘Smiley And I Know It’ PJs

Part of their new fall drop, Kiki + Lulu’s “Smiley And I Know It” print puts the classic autumnal colors to good, adorable use. The print is available as a lovey, a blanket, a crib sheet, and more, but we especially love the PJs for babies, kids, and grown-ups. All of their products are made from bamboo fabrics, making them soft, breathable, durable, and so, so cozy. We love all of the styles, but the baby design is extra special because it features a double zipper for easy diaper changes and convertible footies, so you can choose to have your babe’s toes stay toasty or wiggle freely (proof that real-life moms own this company).

Parachute Cloud Cotton Robe

Have you ever looked at a baby all wrapped up in a muslin swaddle and thought, Why can’t I  be that comfortable? While Parachute’s Cloud Cotton Robe isn’t exactly the same, it’s about as close as you can get as an adult. The 100% Turkish cotton robe is machine washable (and just gets softer with every wash), features two side pockets, comes in a range of sizes from XS to 3X, and is available in several fall hues. We think this robe is great for anyone, anytime, but we especially love it for nursing parents who want to be comfortable while also having easy access to their breasts for feeding or pumping.

OYOY Acorn Rug

How stinking cute is this Acorn Rug by OYOY? Perfect for a nursery or playroom, this rug measures 35 inches by 31 inches, is made from 80% wool and 20% cotton, and is designed for high-traffic areas—making it incredibly durable. It has an adorable design that would be perfect for a space with a woodland theme, but if you’re not into acorns, OYOY also makes an Earth Tone Rainbow Rug in a similar color scheme.

Stapelstein in Original Warm

Launching in the United States this month, Stapelstein (“stepping stones” in German) gives kids the opportunity to use their motor skills and imaginations thanks to its open-play design. The toy is available in different colors and quantities, and the colors  Original Warm could blend right into a pile of falling leaves. Not only are these stones great for stacking, jumping on, and building, but they’re also free of plasticizers, additives, and other harmful materials, and they are 100% recyclable. Note: Stapelstein sets officially launch in mid-September, but are available for pre-order now.

Anthropologie Morgan Coupe Glasses

Whether you’re drinking your apple cider spiked or sparkling this fall, serve it up in these seasonally appropriate Morgan Coupe Glasses from Anthropologie. These four-piece sets are available in a variety of colors, but our favorite is “earth tones,” which includes one glass each in grey, burgundy, green, and mustard yellow. As an added bonus, these 13.5-ounce glasses are very generously sized, according to reviewers. Not into the coupe glass design? Morgan Wine Glasses and the Morgan Flutes are also available in these beautiful colors.
