The Tiny Love 3-in-1 Rocker Napper was the first piece […]

The Tiny Love 3-in-1 Rocker Napper was the first piece of baby furniture my husband and I assembled together as we wait for our little one to be born. When I first opened the box, I was overwhelmed by how many parts there were! My husband has built more things than I have and could make sense of which parts go where. I was thankful for the easy to follow illustrations in the assembly manual for the moments where he didn’t quite get things right.

From start to finish it took us around 35 minutes to put everything together. Because the Rocker Napper was the first piece we assembled for our baby, it was kind of a bonding thing, so we didn’t mind spending some time on it.

Once we finished, it sat in our tiny living room for a week or two. When we needed a little more space, the Rocker Napper was easy to shuffle from one side of the room to the other because of how lightweight it is. I could even do it with one hand, which will be convenient when I have a baby in one arm. It’s not collapsible, so I don’t foresee us taking it out of the house much.

I love that the Rocker Napper doesn’t look like other baby entertainers. The outside of ours is a bright red while the padding on the inside is patterned in neutral stripes. It’s not covered with cartoon animals or quirky patterns! I think this is why we were able to get away with having it in our living room for so long, even without a baby.

The mobile (a hanging sun and snail) and music player will be entertaining for our little one. I like that it has the option to vibrate as a soothing option for baby. As for the rocker part, you do have to push it for it to rock, though baby’s own movements might be enough to get things moving.

The napper has three different modes that grow with your baby. For newborns, a flat place to lie down and side walls give babies a quite place to rest. Once your little one is a few months old, you can make the rocker more open by collapsing the side walls, so he can more easily reach the mobile for play. The last option is a reclined seat (with or without the mobile) that works well for babes with reflux or even during mealtimes.

Since our sweet baby boy has been born we’ve had a number of opportunities to use the Rocker Napper. We still love the music and the vibrate features of the Rocker Napper, they’re great distractions for a fussy baby. There are flashing lights on the mobile that are especially entertaining for our little guy.

Now that I’ve used the napper with my son, I wish it rocked more easily (especially on carpeted floors). Aesthetically, however, the Rocker Napper is still one of our favorites.

I do want to mention that the Rocker Napper is low, sitting a foot off the ground. It makes for a great place for baby to nap during the day, but I wouldn’t use it by your bed unless your bed is very low.

In all, I love the design of the Rocker Napper—that it’s lightweight and has a cleaner aesthetic than your typical baby gear—and how it fits in our smaller home. I am excited to have a comfortable place to lay baby and keep him entertained when the moment calls for it.
