I didn’t know it was possible to fall in love […]

I didn’t know it was possible to fall in love so fast with a highchair, but it only took one glance at the ultra-chic, super-stylish bloom fresco to know I had found my perfect match.
I generally consider myself to be pretty hip, but it wasn’t until I had this chair sitting in my dining room that I discovered the true definition of modern. The sleek white exterior, the Mork & Mindy type design and the ease of transition instantly transported me to my own family version of Star Trek. Let’s take a closer look at what makes this highchair so out-of-this-world.
fresco HO---2Build me up, Scotty.
The highchair comes with an easy-to-read manual with an additional DVD to help with assembly. The main seat is simple to attach onto the base and can be workable in a short time. To attach the smaller parts, safety harness and trays, however, you will need to rely on the instructions and allow some time to ensure proper installation. The extra prep is completely understandable when you’re able to note the sturdy quality. Once assembled, the chair stands 24.8 x 40.4 inches tall. The roomy chair does not fold up or put away easily (Personally, I say thank goodness because it is so cute, you won’t want to hide this thing away!) It is thin enough, though, to fit easily in the corner of my terribly small dining room without being cumbersome.
Take me to your baby.
Here’s where it gets really good (and worth the price)! The highchair is specifically designed for resting, feeding and playing. The seat swivels and reclines to allow my newborn to rest during our dinner (or anytime!) while staying securely fastened with the 5-point harness (that comes complete with padded cushions for extra comfort). For feeding at 6-36 months, the seat sits upright and has an extra large tray for messy meals. The tray is quickly removable and dishwasher-safe. When you pull it away, there is another tray designed for play while mom cleans up. The adjustable footrest keeps baby happy and comfortable. My favorite part is that this chair will become a staple at our table all the way through the toddler years. By removing the seat cover and harness, it turns into the perfect kid’s seat and will hold up to 79 pounds. This super cool chair also swivels a complete 360 degrees.
To infinity and beyond.
The highchair is sure to be a keeper for years to come and because of the practical elements added to its contemporary design, cleanup is a breeze. There are no cracks or crevices for food to hide. The seat cushion is removable, easily wipeable and comes in a slew of vibrant colors to match any kitchen perfectly (Even hot pink)! A wheel on the bottom makes it easy to move from room to room on the same level. Keep in mind that movement to a different floor or travel with the chair is out of the question due to its relatively heavy weight.
If you’re still doubting that this chair will take you through the millenium—don’t! Here are a few features to remind you why this is the seat for you:
